Cleaning Tips for Epoxy and Polyurea Floors

A large microfiber dust mop that's about 2 to 3 feet wide will make it easy to clean up any dust bunnies and debris is tracked in over the week. The removable mop head allows you to throw it in the washer machine to start fresh periodically. 

If you'd rather not wash a dry mop attachment, a push broom will get the job done. Choosing a broom with softer bristles is important to avoid scratching your solid color polyurea floors. 

After a few months of use, your floors will inevitably need to be mopped. We recommend quarterly cleaning with a microfiber mop to keep your new floors looking their best. 

Remove stains and spill promptly. Leaving oils and harsh residues on the floor can cause unwanted discoloration.

Always be sure to follow the dilution recommendations on the back of the bottle and test an inconspicuous area if you are unsure about a product's effect on the flooring. Rinse the mop frequently in a separate bucket with clean water to ensure no filmy residue is left behind.
